How it works: We meet as a group and discuss a monthly topic related to lactation and/or parenting infants and toddlers. We also address topics attendees bring: breastfeeding concerns/questions; discussion about caring for their babies and themselves in the infancy and toddler periods.
History: For many years, dedicated volunteers hosted regular La Leche League meetings in the Duluth area. This act of care benefited an untold number of families. Several years after the long time leaders retired, Rosalyn and Lacey brought La Leche League back to Duluth. In 2025, the midwest governing body of La Leche League lost its leadership. In order to continue offering free support, Rosalyn and Lacey continue their group with the similar triple L acronym: Lake Lactation Lounge. Our meeting space is generously donated by Spirit of the Lake Community Arts.
